IT, Internet and E-Commerce Law

Advice

Electronic Commerce includes a wide range of legal fields, such as the laws of contract and of company names, and unfair competition law, trademark law, copyright, data protection and telecommunications law. Due to the international dimension of the Internet, international private law and international civil procedure are also of significance, in particular when dealing with questions of which law should be applicable and which court should have jurisdiction in e-commerce disputes.

We advise in connection with domain names, electronic transactions (contract, criminal and intellectual property law), online marketing (commercial communication), liability in relation to the Internet, as well as on unfair competition and corporate law-related matters.

Contractual Matters

We draw up and revise agreements on licensing, sales, franchising, purchases, PR and information and advertising services, software development and maintenance and other agreements on services related to IT projects, the Internet and e-commerce.

Legal Disputes

We represent you in the appropriate national courts and before international decision-making bodies (e.g. WIPO for ICANN-procedures) in connection with domain name disputes and other infringements of rights relating to the Internet.
